国际学校英语面试考什么?名校面试真题解析来了~

国际/双语学校的英语面试一直都是家长们关注的重点,国际/双语学校的英语面试怎么考、考什么更是重中之重。

今天小编就带领各位家长去见识一下上实和上外附中的面试考试真题,知己知彼,方能百战不殆,顺利进入心仪的学校。

首先有点小建议,在去面试之前一定要保证孩子的精神状态良好,面对老师能自如的谈吐,要自信不慌张。面试的老师也是很看重孩子的状态的。上海某学校的英语面试有以下几个类型的题型:


快问快答

Part 1. Make quick responses to the sentences you have heard.

1. It usually takes eight hours to travel from New York to Chicago by train. A train left New York more than ten hours ago. Why did it not come?


2. Who are the two brothers that live on opposite sides of the road but never see each other?


3. Kate is 12 years old. Two years ago, she was twice as old as her brother Jim. How old is Jim now?


这一类题带有一点脑筋急转弯的性质,需要学生反应很快,从不同的角度去琢磨出正确答案。这类题考查的点比较多,比如学生的听力、表达、逻辑思维能力和思维转换能力等。一般体制内的学生容易被这类题型束缚住,可以加强做一些头脑风暴训练和阅读一些趣味书籍。


二 跟读

Part two: listen carefully to the words I read, then I will ask you to repeat some of them. Each you should repeat twice.

这类题型比较简单,主要是考查学生的词汇量和口语能力,只要发音标准和对词汇掌握比较全,一般不会有问题。


三 阅读理解+填词

Part three:Read aloud the following passage. You will have one minute to prepare and thirty seconds to read.


Like fine food, good writing is something we enjoy. And good writers, like good cooks, have to have a s______ training to have the skills of writing, so the writer must sit at his desk and take long h______ to achieve a style(样式)in his writing, for schoolwork, business, or social communication. You may be sure that the more effort (努力) we make, the more effective the writing is.


There are s______ some faraway places in the world where you might find a public scribe(抄写员) to do your business or social writing for you, for money. There are a few managers who are lucky e______ to have the service of that kind of secretary who can take care of all kinds of letters writing with no more than a quick note to work from. 这一类题对于学生的难度是较高的,不仅要在一分钟内大致看一遍文章,还要理解文章并补出空缺的单词,这需要一个快速理解并消化的能力。这里可以通过平时的阅读量来培养学生的语感和对文章的快速理解能力。


四 听力口语

Part four: Listen to the passage and then answer the questions orally.


From the first day he entered my junior-high classroom, Willard P. Franklin existed in his own world, shutting out his classmates and teachers. Even a "Good Morning, Willard” from me, his class teacher, received only a word “Morning”. His classmates could get the same reply, too. Willard was completely a loner who seemed to have no desire or need to break his barrier of silence. Shortly after the Thanksgiving holiday, we received the word of the annual Christmas collection of money for the less fortunate people in our school district.


“Christmas is a season of giving,” I told my students. There are a few students in the school who might not have a happy season. By contributing to our Christmas collection, you will help buy food, clothing and toys for these needy people. We start the collection tomorrow.”


When I called for the contributions the next day, I discovered that almost everyone had forgotten, except for Willard P. Franklin. The boy dug deep into his pants pockets as he strolled up to my desk. Carefully, he dropped two quarters into the small container.


“I don’t need any milk for lunch," he said very quietly. For a moment, just a moment, he smiled. Then he turned and walked back to his desk.


After school, I took our meager contributions to the school principal. I couldn’t help sharing the incident that had taken place.


“I may be wrong, but I believe Willard might be getting ready to become a part of the world around him," I told the principal.


“Yes, I believe it sounds hopeful, " he nodded. "And I think that we might do well to have him share a bit of his world with us. I just received a list of the poor families in our school who most need help through the Christmas collection. Here, take a look at it.”


As I gazed down to read, I found Willard P. Franklin and his family were the top names on the list.


Question:

1. Which word did Willard P. Franklin’s teacher and his classmates get from him?

2. Is Christmas a season of giving?

3. When did Willard P. Franklin’s class receive the word of the annual Christmas collection of money?

4. What’s your opinion of Willard P. Franklin after you read this story?

这类题型难度不低,需要学生边听边理解文章内容,注意考查的点。平时可以注重对孩子进行听力训练、即听即答能力的培养,来提升孩子这方面的能力。


五 看图说话

Part five:You will have one minute to prepare and another minute to talk about the following pictures. Begin your talk with the sentence given: It was March the eighth that day, Women’s Day. Li Hua had a good idea and told his father that…


这类题型主要是考察学生的观察力和想象力,能用英语讲出一个故事,也需要一定的语言表达能力。可以在考前预先进行一些相关类型的训练,锻炼一下孩子的随机应变能力和语言组织能力。


总的来看,上外附中主要考查的是学生的反应和理解能力,需要孩子对听力和口语方面的专注培训,相比较而言,上外附中的考试题型比较难,覆盖面也比较广,对孩子英语的考查比较严苛。


而另一所学校的英语面试题型也有以下两个类型:


一 中译英

Part 1. Translation

1. 昨天妈妈给我买了一个生日蛋糕作为礼物。

2. 某某一家喜欢在每年的春天种花。

3. 叔叔很擅长做草莓蛋糕。

4. 那个澳洲男孩是Tom的朋友吗?


这类题型主要考查孩子的词汇量和语法,一般不会有什么难度,只要注意细心一点,不要犯低级错误就行了。


二 自由讨论

Part 2. Freetalk

1. My favorite teacher

2. Mom and I

3. My best friend and I

4. My desk mate

这类讨论主要是考查学生的语言表达能力和思维能力,能对面试官提出的话题及时产出想法,可以在考前做一些可能会考到的话题的预估,并进行一些相关的语言表达训练。


其实,国际/双语学校的面试官注重学生的能力不外乎以上这几种,家长们平日就可以着重进行培养以及训练。
